Liverpool target Diomande reveals love for PSG
Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for Yan Diomande this summer, but the RB Leipzig winger could join Paris Saint-Germain.
RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande revealed he has "loved Paris Saint-Germain" since he was little as rumours of a summer transfer grow.
Diomande has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool to replace the departing Mohamed Salah, though PSG are also said to be interested in the 19-year-old.
He directly contributed to 20 goals (12 goals, eight assists) in 33 Bundesliga games in 2025-26, a tally bettered only by Harry Kane (41), Michael Olise (34), Luis Diaz (29), Deniz Undav (25) and Christoph Baumgartner (21).
Diomande, however, completed the most dribbles (118 – 50 more than any other player) and take-on ending carries (104 – 29 more than any other player).
He will also be representing Ivory Coast at the World Cup this summer; they face Germany, Ecuador and Curacao in the group stage.
Despite Europe's elite sides fighting for his signature, Diomande's focus is firmly on international football for the time being.
"My future? I have a team that takes care of that," said Diomande.
"I try to stay as focused as possible. I've loved PSG since I was little. I think my father was a PSG supporter.
"But I'm not thinking about the future, I'm staying focused on the World Cup. We'll see what happens after that."
